Basem B. Abdelmalak is the Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Director of the Center for Procedural Sedation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and Chair of the ASA Educational Track Subcommittee on Ambulatory Anesthesia and the ASA Taskforce on Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) and Procedural Sedation.
Advances in Anesthesia techniques, as well advances and increased in the numbers and kind of procedures performed in Non-Operating Room Anesthesia ( NORA) locations necessitates the utilization of anesthesia machines with modern and up to date equipment.
